From Exposé to Policy Solutions in Seafood Supply Chains

ARC, Pulitzer Center, and Washington College of Law co-hosted a film screening and panel discussion.

Steve Sapienza (Pulitzer Center) introduced Squid Fleet, from The Outlaw Ocean Project, a film telling the story of fishers and the conditions they endure on the Chinese fleet.

An expert panel discussed worker experiences and policy gaps in the global seafood supply chain, pathways to remedy, security dimensions of illegal fishing, and strengthening inter-agency cooperation.
